Case study: Translation, production, and distribution

Drivers eagerly await every new car model. They want to see it, to read technical parameters, and go for a test drive. When a launch date approaches, sellers need to have test cars, as well as advertising folders and detailed technical specifications ready. In face of such a challenge, one of the automotive companies ordered from us a service consisting of translation, production, and distribution of such materials.

A few weeks earlier, the company’s Polish branch had decided that the national launch would be pushed forward. There was little time left, and the employees started to receive requests concerning information materials, both from showrooms and service stations, which were soon to start supporting the new model.

A delay was out of the question, so the head of marketing and sales ordered a comprehensive service from us. The required deliverables included service manuals and product data sheets. We were to translate and digitally typeset the materials, and then print and deliver them to designated locations across the country.

We set up a project team, which came up with tailored procedures. We developed a detailed schedule of localisation workflow along with distribution and monitoring logistics. Within 6 weeks, we translated and printed out more than 4,000 documents, which were delivered to 50 service stations. The customer was satisfied, since the launch had gone just as planned, and the car was warmly received by the drivers. Our cooperation has been extended for the years to come.
